I was recently the ‘Member of the Week’ for the Facebook group Skullettes ‘N’ Caskets. Skullettes ‘N’ Caskets is a group of ladies that share a love of horror and the macabre. The posts are always fun and inspirational.
Here are a few excerpts from my interview:
What’s your favorite Horror film and why? Ghost Story (1981). Friends gather to tell ghost stories and find out they’re living in one. Perfect. It’s set in deep winter and takes place in big old fashioned house(s). So freaking spooky!
Favorite Horror Monster or Villain? The Headless Horseman!
You’re in a horror movie. Are you the final girl, the first to die, the comic relief, the skeptic, the smart one, or the killer? The smart one…who might have accidentally on purpose set the whole thing up. Because, research.
Your favorite Halloween costume that you have dressed up as? I dressed as Marie Laveau in 98 when I went to Anne Rice’s Ball in New Orleans. I loved the full skirt, off the shoulder blouse and rubber snake. All thrifted. I had a blast.
If you got trapped in a one scary movie, which would you choose? Something vivid and beautiful like Tim Burton’s Sleepy Hollow (1999).
End this with your Favorite Horror movie Quote….
“A house as old as this one becomes, in time, a living thing. It starts holding onto things. It may have timber for bones and windows for eyes, and sitting here all alone it can go slowly mad. Keeping them alive when they shouldn’t be. Some of them are good; some of them bad… Some should never be spoken about again.” Thomas Sharpe, Crimson Peak
