Homestead

When I am alone,

The old home place comes back to me.

Failing timbers

Falling snow

But that didn’t stop us

Dancing, dirty bare feet.

Bracing winds

Bountiful land

But that couldn’t hold us

Fleeing, silent sure feet.

Overcast sky

Overrun well

Only that touched by magic remains,

When I am alone.

The old home place (not my pic)
